Psalm 33: 18 reminds us that God watches over those who rely on his unfailing love. That's good news. It means that we are not alone when we face our biggest trials. The year has just begun and none of us knows what it will hold. None-the-less we know God will be with us. We know that there will be tests. Don't fear. God will give you strength. We know there will be disappointments. Don't worry. God will help you overcome. We know there will be worries. Don't let them consume you. God will give you peace. That's what He does.
Jesus reminds us time after time that God has not forgotten us. He reminds us that God loves us. He tells us to open our eyes and see what marvelous things He has done. So the next time life has gotten you looking down, look up and see the source of your hope.
